自定义项目非常丰富，赛车和赛道的编辑器和在PS3上几乎一样。无论你想制作什么，都有大量的零件供你使用，其中很多是通过比赛或者收集金钱来获得的。
自定义可以完全通过触摸屏来实现，玩家可以用手指来浏览菜单和调节颜色。这种新的输入法尽管菜单又小又密集，而且在用手指画赛道时很难看到手下面发生了什么，至少是创建赛道最有效的办法。想要弄一座山时，只需按住背面的触摸板，这是一个亮点。不过如果想创造其他的东西，最好还是用传统的操纵方法。
