《刺客信条：编年史》是由Climax同育碧蒙特利尔共同打造的一款横版过关游戏。在游戏中玩家可以扮演三个不同国家文化的刺客，游戏分成刺客信条编年史：中国、刺客信条编年史：印度、刺客信条编年史：俄罗斯三部分发行。
《刺客信条：编年史》作品均为2.5D卷轴玩法，还包括支线任务，圣器收集元素，每位刺客为不同作战方法，武器，技能。玩家可游玩三个不同国家文化的刺客，包括明朝即将覆灭期间的中国刺客邵云，锡克帝国与东印度公司交战期间的印度刺客Arbaaz Mir，以及十月革命之后的俄罗斯刺客Nikolai Orelov，三款作品包含独特的画风，剧情，但整体架构相联系。
