本作是一款动作游戏×学园×DQN僵尸题材的作品。以面临废校危机的学园为舞台。学生们决定用拍摄僵尸影片来让学园变得有名气，从而增加入学志愿的人数。然后，不知为什么僵尸居然真的出现了，4女神们将出现打倒他们。本作支持最多4人的共斗，不过还不清楚是本编可共斗还是有另外的专用模式。
《激次元组合：战机少女VS丧尸军团》是一款砍杀丧尸的动作游戏，由Compile heart开发制作。激次元组合：战机少女VS丧尸军团是《海王星》系列的最新作，游戏中玩家将操纵各种娘化的游戏机/厂商妹子打怪。
本作作为海王星系列的一个外传，讲述青春少女们为了拯救她们心爱的学园，挺身而出制作电影顺手拯救世界的故事。本作的战斗系统仍然是和U一样的无双制（毕竟人家搞出来的新玩法不能玩了一次就扔了啊），但是操作难度有所上升。最主要的表现就是角色的惯性增加，硬直时间加长，闪避不再那么灵活，人物攻击范围也减少了。
同时BOSS战斗力大幅度上升，这代的BOSS也再也不会像U的那些BOSS一样被硬直到死，一般来说BOSS在受到多次攻击后会被击倒一次，持续几秒，这段时间BOSS是没有反抗能力的，但是除此之外，BOSS不会硬直（少数特殊BOSS比如单人的最终BOSS会在使用一些特殊攻击后硬直一段时间，这段时间就是你攻击的最好时间）,同时每个BOSS都有复数的攻击方式（最烦的就是大史莱犬还有那个忘了啥名字的石头人的那种跳在天上的攻击QWQ，还有那个猩猩，不过那个好像不是BOSS），导致BOSS战难度非常大。
